By using 3SIXTY products, hotels can have an impact in the fight against single use plastics without having to make complicated changes to their current linen operations.
Their mission is to create the most environmentally friendly, sustainable and socially responsible textile products for the hospitality industry.
Their Ecomax range is made by recycling used plastic bottles and mixing them with high grade cotton to create a range of hospitality textiles that dramatically reduces the impact of these bottles upon the planet.
An average bath towel contains up to 10 recycled plastic bottles, and a bathrobe can consist of up to 20. This message is then easily communicated to the guest via a sew-in label on the product.
A standard 100-bedroom hotel could help prevent at least 86,000 plastic bottles from entering landfill or the ocean – just by replacing their standard linens with the full range of Ecomax products.
Everything has been independently tested by a UK lab to ensure they stand up to commercial laundry washing cycles – and 3SIXTY are happy to share the findings of this report on request.
