Buddy Burst supplies innovative, engaging and sustainable seed based promotional products. There are four products to choose from that can be custom branded: seed sticks; seed grow packs; seed packets; and seeded paper. Each is embedded with seeds from an array of flower, herb, vegetable and tree species. Growing instructions, germination times, botanical and common names of the plants are included as standard.
Seed sticks, which come in a matchbook format without a phosphorous strip, are the most popular Buddy Burst product. The seeds are attached to biodegradable sticks with natural glue. Each tear-off stick has a depth line indicator to aid planting.
Buddy Burst seed grow packs include inserts, pots, seeds and peat free soil pellets – all the client needs to do is water as per the instructions. Options include a single pot greenhouse, wrap around and six pot greenhouse. The inserts and pots can be customised.
Seed packets are foil sealed. This protects the seeds from any moisture and in turn allows for a long shelf life, which makes them ideal for long-term campaigns. Buddy Burst seed packets can be presented in a variety of formats and sizes.
Seeded paper is a biodegradable eco-paper made from post-consumer materials and embedded with seeds. When it is planted in a pot of soil or in the garden, the seeds germinate and the paper composts. Buddy Burst recommends that smaller seeds are used – this makes the seed paper smoother and more suitable for printing with the soy and vegetable based inks. Seeded paper can be used for business cards, bookmarks, recipe cards and coffee cup sleeves.
